Ah yes, it says:
"BBC America: I'm Alan Partridge (March/April). Comedian Steve Coogan plays a failed talk show host in what could be BBCA's next The Office."
Pretty sure series one of I'm Alan Partridge has been on in America already, but the description seems to suggest that it could be series one that will be shown. Perhaps some of our America fans can confirm this when it airs in March/April time.
Either way, it is likely to push the BBC to release I'm Alan Partridge on DVD in America (region 1) so they can enjoy watching Alan in 'premium quality' ;D

coogan should have been at the top of that list.
the newspapers described coogan as a showbusiness pheomenon after is 'The Man Who Thinks He's It' tour and that's exactly what he is.
he knows the secret to comedy and uses his talent to portray characters like alan who are just unbelievably funny.

I agree. But the top three were like John Cleese, Woody Allen and some other guy. Steve was seventeenth. They showed the clip of him where he played a swimming pool guy. It was really funny.

yea, classic coogan. but i certainly believe that coogan is funnier than peter cook (the man who won) but they may well have chosen him in remembrance of his life and career and such.
