Hi everyone, Just need a bit of a hand naming (and artist) some of the classic songs alan sings to: - the one when he plays air guitar - when he is at the graveyard with lynn drumming It would be great to find these out "They do it on purpose lynn!"

Air Guitar - Music for Chameleons by Gary Numan Graveyard - Return of the Saint "She was a bit of a heffalump, God rest her soul." I was wondering how long it would be before someone asked this question. Both songs are available here.

I wonder if anyone can find the "Why do birds suddenly appear" soundclip for me? It was so romantic when alan sang that. Good work Sarah J. "Hello how do you do?" (in a posh voice) "Thats an interesting accent....where are you from originally" "Ai originally I'm from Newcastle like"

That was classic {messageboard} intercoarse! Better let the extractor fan kick in. Ok how about this one too, does anyone know the music that's playing whilst Alan's beloved book is being pulped (its awesome). Sar, I miss those ski slopes so so so badly. "The mother swan just flies off depressed"

does anyone know the music that's playing whilst Alan's beloved book is being pulped (its awesome). This is called "Windmills of Your Mind", originally sang by Noel Harrison, son of the great George Harrison. I am not sure whether it is the Harrison version that is played at the end of the show though. Can anyone confirm this? If not, what version is it?

george harrison did not have a son called noel Oooh, sorry. I meant to say actor Rex Harrison. I have the answer. The version at the end of the second series was sang by the King Singers. It says so on the BBC website.

And here are the father and son: Rex Harrison: Noel Harrison (who starred in The Girl from Uncle, if anyone remembers that): Incidentally, you can watch a video clip of Alan's book being pulped along with the music here.

Ok, another song then.... I don't think anyone will ever get it...... The song Alan plays to Jill in his Rover.
"This will just blow you away...." "Deo....tempus....vernum......Deo....Ardra..."
Mission impossible?
"They've rebadged it you fool..."
