Can Coogan and Stiller really live up to the classic TV duo played by Moore and Curtis? Here's a taster of what they must do: But, to be fair. Are we not more concerned about what the cars will be in the new film? In the 70's TV show Moore stayed British with an Aston Martin DBS, whilst Curtis went Italian with the Ferrari Dino. I wonder if they will use the up to date counterparts e.g. Aston Martin DB9/Ferrari 612 Scaglietti? You can read more about the cars from the original TV series here. I'm sure if Alan Partridge was given the chance to star as Roger Moore in the movie, he would be quite literally in "Jurassic Park!". I can imagine it is quite daunting for Ben Stiller to step in such a man's shoes. You can buy the original TV series on DVD here. Also available as a 7 disc boxset on DVD too. ;D Ben Stiller had a major role in the 70's TV show remake of Starsky & Hutch. That was a success. Hopefully, he can bring his comedy along with Coogan's genius to create a top notch film.
