spice world was an album too, I saw it in a music shop.
Not that I was looking for spice girls cd's or anything..

that's very true! but Alan also changed another well known name -'jackanory' to 'jackanakanory!'...so surely it's totally possible he changed 'spiceworld' to 'splice-world'?
i think we need to get Coogan/Armando/Peter involved in this discussion

I read that Steve Coogan was a big Gary Numan fan when he was a teenager. This is backed up by a Tony Ferrino reference to Numan in a few interviews and the use of Music For Chameleons on the new DVD, a hit for Numan ion 1982.
